      The Canadian Academy of Dental Health & Community Sciences (CADH) and Johnson & Johnson makers of Listerine, cordially invite you to attend a complimentary continuing education Dental Hygiene seminar on: Telling Tongues - Stories of the Oral Cavity Course Outline: Demonstrate an understanding of the different causes for oral conditions; Recognize the signs of systemic health issues within the oral cavity Interpret those signs to assess possible health needs; Discuss health and oral needs with their patients; Develop a plan of treatment and/or referral for their patients; Find applications for the WHO priority areas.  Tongues speak volumes...about the health of the oral cavity and the overall health of your patients.  Listen and learn what the tongue is telling you and learn to identify possible health issues and associated nutritional deficiencies.  Come away with an arsenal of information and recommendations that you can share with your patients to aid them in better managing their oral and systemic health.  Speaker: Neli Gontier, RDH Neli is an articulate and dynamic facilitator with many years of experience as a dental clinician, educator, practice management consultant and corporate manager.  She is currently an Education & Training Specialist for a national non-profit and a Senior Trainer/Facilitator for CSPN and their international corporate clients.  For many years now, her talks and webinars on biofilms, oral diseases, infection control and other relevant topics have been very well received by numerous dental societies, academies and associations, including the CDHA.
