SWIT Event- Womens' Advancement in Business Today Series

Hello there and hope you are enjoying your summer! You are invited to join us the evening of September 17th, 6:00 pm for networking, dinner and our NEW series- another hot topic as always- 'Womens' Advancement'. For those of you who have joined us for past events you know we had a lot of success and buzz around our Leadership Series and our Innovation Series. We have decided to continue that format and we will be building a number of events through 2019/20 on this new topic but this time with a different spin! We have all talked, talked and talked about ‘Womens' Advancement’ for ages but this time there will be a strong bias to action! We will explore and discover strategies and actions together for what can we do as individuals, do with our colleagues -men and women - and in our Technology community to actually move the needle. We will have engaging, inclusive formats of at-table-discussions as well as thought provoking speakers and you will hopefully all leave with one, or even two, new ideas to implement and build on in your career and workplace. Some of the upcoming HOT topics include: ‘Men as Allies’; 'Women- Friend or Foe’; 'Finding your Voice’; 'Negotiating 2.0’.... just to name a few. In this first session of the Series we would like to canvass you, our audience, in terms of what you would like to hear and learn more about as HOT topics going forward as well so come prepared. Fariba and I are also very excited to have Debra Christmas and Steve Heck of Gartner Canada for our first session exploring 'Men as Allies’  to move from talk to action. Debra and Steve have been very involved in educating, re-framing and supporting action on this issue throughout their career and are looking forward to sharing and exchangeing actionable prespectives. Debra Christmas - Executive Partner, Gartner Canada - https://www.linkedin.com/in/dkeelingchristmas/ Steve Heck - Executive Partner, Gartner Canada - https://www.linkedin.com/in/steve-heck-426b256/ Please reserve your spot sooner than later as our events fill up fast with limited seating of 64 . Also do share the invitation link to other women in your network interested in SWIT series.  Cheers...... Sue and Fariba
