      Want to learn how to make delicious and satisfying Indian vegan food using aromatic spices and easy to follow recipes? I host Indian vegan cooking classes out of my home every Sunday afternoon. Fees: $30.00 per class Small batch classes. Classes are part demo and part hands on. Advance registration required. Location : North Etobicoke (major intersection Kipling & Dixon). Full address provided upon registration. Ample of free visitors parking available. Easily accessible by TTC. Time from 12:00pm till 3:00 pm You will get easy to follow recipes, quick cooking tips and nutritional facts about various foods.  I will also provide info on how to shop for your ingredients on a budget.  Here are details of each class: Protein Packed Pulses - In this class you will learn how to make protein packed curries using daals / different pulses like beans, peas and lentils. In India most people are vegetarian and get their protein eating pulses. Appetizers class - In this class you will learn how to make appetizers vegan omelettes and pakoras/fritters. Pakoras are one of the most satisfying comfort foods of India. You will learn to make pakoras using different vegetables like potatoes, eggplants, cabbage etc. Veggie Entrees - In this class you will learn how to make delicious wet and dry entrees using local vegetables as well as traditional Indian vegetables like okra. Yes there is a way to make crispy okra! Flat-breads class - This class is all about making Indian breads from scratch. You will learn to knead dough and create fluffy rotis/chapatti and puris. Rice dishes - You will learn how to cook various rice dishes like sweet saffron rice, khichadi and vegetable rice pulao using aromatic basmati rice. Also learn to make perfectly fluffy plain basmatic rice Please be aware these are not gluten free, nut free classes.
