      Assert(js) 2019 - The JS Testing Conference

Assert(js) is a conference for JavaScript developers focused on testing. From TDD techniques and process to JS testing tools and frameworks, both UI and Node.js. Learn more at https://www.assertjs.com/. There is also training available, learn more at: https://www.assertjs.com/training Conference As developers we know that automated testing helps us write better code, build more reliable products, and keep our development velocity consistently high. As JavaScript developers we also know that our platform evolved from a place where testing wasn’t always highly in focus. However, JavaScript has become a modern app development platform and JS testing tools have undergone multiple generations of progress in a few short years. The Assert(js) Conference intends to help JS developers of all types better understand and share their best practices and experiences with JS testing tools. Training James Shore teaches, writes, and consults on Agile development processes with an emphasis on technical excellence. He test-drove his first web application in 2000 and hasn’t stopped since. He is a recipient of the Agile Alliance's Gordon Pask Award for Contributions to Agile Practice, co-author of The Art of Agile Development (O'Reilly), host of Let's Code: Test-Driven JavaScript, and co-creator of the Agile Fluency™ Model. InfoQ has named him one of the “most influential people in Agile.” You can find his screencasts at letscodejavascript.com, essays at jamesshore.com, and more about the Agile Fluency Model at agilefluency.org.
