      YMCA Community Breakfast for Peace

Join the YMCA of Oakville for our annual Community Breakfast for Peace, an inspirational morning dedicated to acknowledging those in our community focused on social change. We recognize local youth, adults and groups who are serving Halton Region by awarding them with a YMCA Peace Medal. In every community there are ordinary people who make a extraordinary difference. At the YMCA, we call these people “peacemakers” because they impact the lives of others through their charitable work, extend a helping hand to those less fortunate, stand up for the rights of others, take action to inspire positive social change and much more. These peacemakers make our community and world a better place to live. Every year we ask the community to nominate someone who is making a difference in Halton. Those who are selected are recognized with a YMCA Peace Medal during the breakfast. Nominate someone today! Visit our website for details.
