      Small Print Toronto’s annual TOTSAPALOOZA Festival of picture books, indie rock bands and DIY crafts for kids aged 2-8 turns ten this year. Local luminaries are gearing up to celebrate this milestone. Canadian Kid-Lit icons Dennis Lee and Barbara Reid, drag artists Fay Slift and Fluffy Soufflé’s acclaimed Drag Queen Storytime, award-winning author Nadia L. Hohn and two stalwarts of Canada's indie rock scene, Communism and The Woodshed Orchestra, headline TOTSAPALOOZA 10.In honour of TOTSAPALOOZA’s 10th anniversary, a limited number of Early Bird Tickets are available at 1998 prices! Dennis will lead the crowd (and indie rockers) in a sing-a-long, blues rendition of his timeless classic Alligator Pie (HarperCollins Canada).● Barbara Reid will share her latest book Picture The Sky and present her beloved Sing a Song of Mother Goose (Scholastic Canada) with lmusical support from indie-rockers.● Nadia L. Once you complete the registration process, you will be sent an electronic ticket that can be scanned at the door via your smartphone. If you don't have a smartphone that you can use to access your tickets when you arrive, please print your tickets. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Revival is located at the corner of College Street and Shaw Ave (one block east of Ossington). By TTC: The College Streetcar West stops at Shaw. OR Take the Southbound bus from Ossington Station to College and walk one block east. There is parking in the lot behind the club and on adjacent side streets.   My child can now take a few steps, does s/he still qualify as a Non-Walker?  Our definition of "non-walker" is a reveler between 0-2 years old who spends most of the show in a caregivers' arms. Giving them a free ticket helps us anticipate the size and shape of our audience. If your child falls into this age range but you'd like your child to participate in the activities and crafts, please purchase a kid's ticket.  My child is 8 (or above), can s/he come to Totsapalooza? The performances by our participating artists and authors appeal to kids of all ages. Importantly, though, the activities and crafts are designed for kids between 2-7. Purchase terms Once purchased via Eventbrite, tickets, books & merchandise are non-refundable. This event is a rain/snow/shine event. If you'd like to transfer your tickets to another attendee, please contact us at At the event, there will be opportunities to purchase books, music & merchandise at the book table, beverages (including alcoholic beverages) from the bar, and baked goods from our pop-up bakery. Purchases at the book table can be made with cash or credit card; purchases at the bar and the pop-up bakery can be made with cash only. There is an ATM on-site but we advise you plan accordingly as demand at past events have exceeded the ATM's supply.  On-site storage A coat check will be available on site and manned throughout the event. As Totsapalooza is an event for active children, we reccomend that you check all non-essential items in the coat check so you can enjoy your time at the event without worrying about your items. Please be advised that storage space for strollers is limited; please arrive early (doors open at 12:30) if you would like to check a stroller. Parental supervision required All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or designate (caregiver) who is at least 18 years of age and is responsible for their direct supervision. Parent, guardian or designate caregivers responsible for more than one attendee and no more than 10 attendees are reminded that they are entirely responsible for their group while in the facility and must effectively supervise the group at all times. Caregivers must remain visible to their group and event personnel to assist with supervision, if necessary.
