      Teddy Bear First Aid - Ontario "Teddy Bear" Tour

      The Respondent has gone mobile! We now offer Teddy Bear First Aid (educational class) for children ages 5 to 6 and ages 7 to 10, ACROSS CANADA! These classes will run side by side and have similar program structure, nevertheless, ages seven to ten will have a more in-depth learning experience and have their own instructor. CPR is not in the curriculum. Your children will learn basic first aid skills that will allow them to remain calm and be proactive during an emergency. As previously mentioned, both age groups; four to six and seven to ten follow a similar program structure, nevertheless, ages seven to ten will have a more in-depth learning experience. Children will learn about a first aid kit, what goes into one and how to use the supplies. They will learn about scene safety, how to identify and treat a cut/scrape/bleeding (small & large), how to identify and stabilize a broken arm/wrist, how to identify burns, how to check for breathing and a pulse (No CPR), how to identify a 911 emergency and how to respond. - January 5th: Barrie, Ontario (Two Classes - A and B )- January 6th: Oshawa. Ontario (Three Classes - A, B, and C)- January 8th: Kingston, Ontario (Three Classes - A, B, and C)- January 12th 2019: Toronto, Ontario (Three Classes - A, B, and C)** LOCATIONS TO BE ANNOUNCED BY DECEMBER 15th ** *not a certified program, our program is for educational purposes only. Children will only need one class to receive a certificate.Program is not associated with the Canadian Red Cross.Please choose a class. Once paid and registered any child in Class A or B, can return to Class C for FREE (refresher class). Donate to partake:$7 donation minimum for each child will receive their own "take home" training pack.Pay what you can after per child.. after you register your child for $7. Make a donation to register a second child. Donation required to attend. All proceeds go towards The Respondents mission in providing safety and support, at an affordable price to individuals across Canada. Proceeds will be used for "Ouch Pouch/Training Kit" supplies, towards fuel and transportation to events. Yes, please contact us within two business days of the class start date.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Your ticket MUST match the name of parent/child on ticket and registration form, UNLESS it is a christmas gift ticket bought.
