      Chair Exercise for Seniors: 65+

      Join us for a free Community Exercise Program for seniors! Offered by Mobility Matters in partnership with Carefirst Seniors. Note: Participants must be 65 years of age or older. Health Card is required at the first session. Please call the Riverdale Branch at 416-393-7720 to confirm your registration. Space is limited and registration via Eventbrite does not guarantee your spot. This program includes four types of exercises:1) Cardiovascular - improve your heart health and physical capacity2) Strengthening - build muscle strength and preserve bone mass3) Stretching - improve/maintain range of motion of body joints4) Balance - help reduce fall risks due to poor balance- Two sessions per week:- Monday session: November 12, 19, 26, December 3, 10, 17- Friday session: November 9, 23, 30, December 7, 14, 21- **There is no session on Friday November 16**- Space is limited and registration is required- Bring your Health Card to the first session- Bring indoor shoes, water and a hand towel- Wear comfortable clothing
