      ASX 16th Annual Symposium "Boom to Bust: The Story of the Universe"

      Date: Friday February 15th, 2019 Time: 6:45 – 10:00 PM (Doors open at 6:30 PM) Location: JJR Macleod Auditorium, 1 King's College Circle, Toronto, ON, M5S 3K1 This is the 16th annual symposium organized by ASX and this year the theme is "Boom to Bust: The Story of Our Universe". Refreshments will be provided during the meet and greet where you will have the opportunity to chat with the speakers and ASX team. Three talks will follow thereafter. Speakers: Katrin Heitmann (Argonne National Lab and KICP, University of Chicago), Rosemary Wyse (Alumni Centennial Professor, Johns Hopkins University) and Fred Adams (Ta-You Wu Collegiate Professor of Physics, University of Michigan). Tickets: FREE for all students with a valid student ID (make sure you still reserve a ticket on the Eventbrite page below) and $10 otherwise.
